Lady In The Doctor's Office

THE LADY IN THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE

By Apostle Cathryn Ndyabagye

While stationed at McClellan Air Force Base, in Sacramento, California; I took my daughter to the doctor at another base clinic at, 'Mather Field'.

While we entered the waiting room, I signed in and I was getting ready to take a seat.

I saw  a lady who was standing at the check-in desk window. God revealed to me at that moment, that this women had throat cancer in the Larynx and had surgery several times.

I was touched by what God showed to me. Then I saw her writing on a tablet as she stood there. I felt in my heart that God wanted me to talk to her.

I waited until we both sat down in the waiting room. Not knowing how she would respond to me, I asked her if she had throat cancer several times? She looked so surprised and shocked as she shook her head "Yes."

I didn't know she could not talk, until I saw her with a chalk board writing on it, and responded to me by writing her answer to me.

This was her only way of communication.

She shared with me how she had six surgeries from cancer in her throat. She ended up having her voice box removed.

Then God revealed to me that she was treated bad by people and that they treated her as deaf and dumb. I said,

"People do not understand you right do they? People seem to treat you as deaf and dumb right?" She shook her head "Yes" (with tears in her eyes) as she wrote on the chalk board saying, "People treat me this way all the time!"

I told her that God was very proud of her, and she was doing so good for what she has endured, that God wanted her to be encouraged, and that He loves her so much!

She was so touched and thankful. she said,"I know It had to be God for God to send someone to speak to me this way."

God allowed me to meet this woman to encourage her and to show her that God loves her.

I found out too that she was already a Christian. I told her I would continue to pray for her. That she is a blessing of God!

I thank God I obeyed Him that day, and said something to her.

It's wonderful how God knows our every need!
